Cargèse is a charming small village along the western coast of Corsica, between Ajaccio and Porto. The village itself is ideally situated close to the sea at the foot of the beautiful Corsican Mountains.
L’institut d’Etudes Scientifiques de Cargèse (IESC) is a conférence center run by the University of Corsica, the University of Nice and CNRS.
The Institute housing facilities on site include 26 double rooms, a studio and a villa (for 2-6 persons). Three rooms are fully accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
Participants are often also lodged in the village of Cargèse, in studios and 3 bedrooms apartments. The village is directly accessible from the Institute by a charming 20-minute walk.
